With our new layout and renewed content we wanted to introduce our own collaborated mix tape to share of variety of artist in one album with songs and artist we both like and love. We call our mix tapes “CHOKE on cup NOODLES” because first, we love noodles and we wanted to have a name which reflected us in the same way it reflected the name of STEREO SUSHI. Choke on Cup NOODLES comes in different variations just like NOODLES, we have CHILLOUT, ROADTRIPS and late night grinding session in Amsterdam… whatever comes to our minds
Though we also included CHOKE on different art projects, music playlist (on our Ipods) and our own band (though Laz plays Piano and nothing else and Lina pretends she’s a Neko-Character because she has one and can do that)
Anyway this will be our first post with different artist in one playlist so enjoy our crazyness

We have chosen these songs because for us they are really relaxing which for us means chilling. It’s great to play them when your on the couch or in bed. It’s also perfect when you have company and want a nice laid back feel.

One of my favorite tracks of vol.1 is by far “Wax Poetic feat. Norah Jones - Angels” the intro is amusing but the entire song has this mellow laid back feeling which I simply adore and then those two voices just blend perfectly. This is by far one of the best songs I’ve heard all year and it reminds me of autumn days, walking in the park with the entire autumn feeling, falling leaves, sun with a breeze not to cold not to warm just relaxing. And the other songs I simply adore are; Nothing At All, Heartbeats and Miss Your Love. Though “Gotta Have You” is one of my favorite songs of The Weepies which I got from my boyfriend.. LAZ..

I never really was into chillout music or ambient until my boyfriend send me a mix tape with lots of chillouts songs and before that I never really paid attention to this kinds of music because other people used to send me chillout songs but I never really cared or got into them. Thanks to him I really appreciate chillout music now a days because it makes me feel relaxed and I can concentrate more on other stuff if I’m tired also it brings back nostalgic memories I guess with time your taste changes and you learn to appreciate different things even music.. SHIN
